The Process Of ADAPTING

ADAPTING to a new environment,
what does it exactly mean?
well, you can go search in oxford dictionary,
it gives you the perfect meaning,
but here i would give my very own experience.
adapting is when daddy does not do all your travel documentation,
when mummy does not follow behind you telling that purple dress is really nice,
and when both of them chorus-ly shout STOP!! when you cross road blindly.
huge fullstop.
some say thats the worst thing to do ever, some say its terrible,
i say its fun and once-in-a-lifetime-experience.
i had my very own process of adapting on the land of mystical, INDIA.
honestly, i did adapt quite well, dad says very well, awww :)
as in, from how i was to how i am, i bet my loved ones were pretty much shocked.
i had my very own room in my hostel and i clean it quite-very often,
went all the way to town alone,
paid my bills alone, cash out on my own. yeah,
not bad for a person like me.
i learnt the word independent and experienced what that word actually means.
and i enjoyed it with a lil bit of loneliness without them by my side.
skype-ing was not that easy as it was barely talking and staring at their faces
without our normal frequent hugs.
but, i soon got used to it as it was part of life i would treasure at the end.:D

and now, im a real daddy's little independent girl who still needs his support and guidance.
